Margaret F. Hernandez of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Saturday April 28th 2018, in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 75 years. She was born on February 14th, 1943, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Frolio Franco and Elvira Saenz Franco.
Margarita was known to her family and friends as Margaret. She will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, and commitment in all that she embraced. She married at the age of nineteen years old and began her family of raising three daughters. Margaret worked in her hometown community and volunteered in various organizations. Margaret’s self-achievements were going back to school in her forties and obtained her GED and then an associates’ degree. Her greatest joy in life were her two granddaughters, big hugs, and kisses. Margaret will be remembered always for her smile.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Manuel Espino Hernandez; her daughters, Sonya H. Ivan and husband Jeff of St. Johns Bay, Florida, Roxie H. Ingram and husband Bob of Fort Stockton, La Mar H. Johnson and husband Steven of Odessa; her brother Joe Franco; her sisters, Jessie Calderon, Mary Ibarra; and her granddaughters, Kate Ivan and Amelia Ingram.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Willy Franco, Frolio Franco Jr.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018, from 6-9pm Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. A rosary will begin at 7pm. on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, May 4th, 2018, beginning at1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas.
