Abel Quintela

Abel Olivas Quintela Sr. of Fort Stockton passed away Thursday June 8th, 2017, in Fort Stockton at the age of 74 years. Abel was born on February 5, 1943, to Julio Quintela and Antonia Olivas Quintela in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Abel is survived by his sons, Abel Quintela of Fort Stockton, Isaac Quintela of Fort Stockton, James Quintela of Fort Stockton, Peter Ivan Way of Alabama; his daughters, Tina Marie Meraz and husband Efrain, Laura Ann Leyva; his brothers, Julio Quintela Jr., Jesus Quintela, Jose Quintela; his fourteen grandchildren; and his 23 great grandchildren.
Abel is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Clayto Quintela, Refugio Quintela; his sister Esperanzo Q. Celaya.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 12pm-9pm and Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 12pm-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Rosary will be on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at 7pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, June 12, 2017, beginning at 10:30am at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Stockton, Texas.
