Adan Duarte Arcides, 96, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2025.
Rosary will be held on February 25,2025 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church 401 S. Main Street Fort Stockton, Texas beginning at 9:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am with Father Frances officiating. Mr. Arcides will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery after his funeral services. Arrangements have been made by Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.
Adan D. Arcides was born October 17, 1928, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Guilllermo G. Arcides and Simona D. Arcides. Adan attended school in Fort Stockton before joining the Navy on October 30, 1945 and was honorably discharged on September 23, 1949. Later he married the love of his life, Alica H. Arcides on June 29, 1949. Mr. Arcides worked for 12 years for the county, then retired from Firestone after 9 years. Adan is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Alicia H. Arcides, his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Guillermo G. Arcides and his sister, Eva D. Arcides. Adan is survived by his sister, Palmenia D. Arcides; his son, Aldo Arcides and his children, Tracy, Geraldo,Jr., and Serena; his daughter, Alva Ybarra and her daughters, Crystalina and Melina; his son, Adan Arcides, his wife Debbie and their children, Christian, Johnathon, and Sierra; his son, Auden Arcides and his children, Auden, Jr. and Andrea; and his son, Adrian Arcides, his wife, Stefani and their children, Jacob and Ella. Adan is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Pallbearers include: Christian Arcides, Jonathan Arcides, Geraldo Arcides, Jonathon Old, Dannon Brown and Auden Arcides, Jr.
