Alberto Subia

Alberto Martinez Subia, 83 of Fort Stockton Texas passed away on May 18, 2023 in Lubbock Texas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 1pm - 7pm, followed by rosary at 7pm at the Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 25, 2023 at 10AM, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 403 S. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.

Albert was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Nieves & Petra Subia on January 21, 1940. He married Belsora Moreno. Growing up he worked at several ranches with his dad Nieves as a cowboy. He later worked as a mechanic for many years and he retired from Pecos County Precinct 2.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nieves & Petra Subia and his son Ricardo Subia.

Alberto is survived by: Marcos (Lou Ann) Tovar, Armando (Martha) Subia, David (Elaine) Subia. Sisters Elvira Ramirez and Mary (Robert) Urias and brother Margarito Subia. His grandchildren, Priscilla (Warren) Turner, Matthew Subia, Dominique (Nickalina) Subia, Bjorn Subia, Victoria (Michael) Gonzales, Reba Subia, Joseph Subia and Adrianna Subia. His great-grandchildren: Nehemiah Subia, Isaac Subia, Hannah Subia, Joshua Turner, Alexander Turner, Micah Subia, Kaleb Subia, Emma Subia, Camilla Subia, Ciela Subia, Nico Subia, Riley Gonzales, Santiago Subia, Jody Ray Subia & Nicholas Perez. And many special nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will are Dominique Subia, Bjorn Subia, Michael Gonzales, Joseph Subia, Warren Turner, Michael Parisi.
