Alfred John Graue Jr. passed away Saturday, Feb 22, 2014 at the age of 57. John was born on August 18, 1956.
He and Shelley Ren SedlacekGraue were married on June 22, 1982 in Lubbock, Texas. John began his career as a longhaul truck driver in 1983. In 1987, he and his young family moved to Fort Stockton. At various times in his families growth, John worked locally, West Texas Gas, Kett Engineering and TRAX most notably. John was know for his great love for God, his family and friends. He was proud of his time as a Leader with Local BSA Cub Scout Pack 154. He enjoyed spending time with his family, laughing and joking with all, especially his coffee buddies.
Mr. Graue is survived by Shelley his wife of 31 years sons, Antony John Graue and wife Holly of Shawnee, Oklahoma William Brandon Graue of Lubbock, Texas Jeremy Thomas Graue of Alpine, Texas mother, Leatrice Rogers Faulconer of Liberty, Missouri Motherinlove, Mary Connor Sedlacek, of Fort Stockton, Texas brother, Gilbert Thomas Graue of Memphis, Texas Monique Asher and husband of Holt, Missouri Leatrice Nix and husband Mike and Beatrice Jackson both of Missouri. Brother in love, Thomas Sedlacek and James Sedlacek sisters in love, Donna Gordon, Carol Hansen and Lynn Sedlacek and his pride and joy, only grandson, Alexander James Graue.
There will be a service celebrating Johns life at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Stockton on Wednesday, February 26, at 2:00 P.M. under the direction of Johns friend and pastor, Dr. Reverand Jim Miles. Interment will follow immediately at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton.
Funeral arrangements are being made under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.
