Alfredo Madrid

Alfredo Rodriguez Tati Madrid passed away on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 at the age of 80. Alfredo was born on February 20, 1934 in Ojinaga , Mexico to Luz Madrid and Maria De Jesus Morales Madrid . He was married Rosa Elia Benavidez and they were blessed with 8 children, 4 sons and 4 daughters. He has been a resident of Fort Stockton for 32 years. Alfredo was a construction worker for many years with many different firms. Before that, he served as a Police officer in Ojinaga.
Tati is survived by his sons: Carlos Ibarra and wife Ramona of Fort Stockton Ricardo Ibarra and wife Estela of Fort Stockton Ramon Madrid and wife Lisa of Midland, Tx Marte Madrid of Fort Stockton his daughters, Mari Cortez and husband Ruben of Fort Stockton Elsa Ibarra and husband Albert Colomo of Fort Stockton Mayte Madrid and Aidee Madrid, also of Fort Stockton. He is also survived by 7 brothers: Carlos, Andres, Roque, Arturo, Tito, Chale and Liandro Madrid, and one sister, Maria Rodriguez Madrid. Tati is also survived by 16 beloved grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Luz and Maria sister, Eufemia Ramos and 2 brothers, Polo and Reymundo Madrid.
There will be a visitation at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 2021 from 9:00 a.m.8:00 p.m. and Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
