Alpha Gray

Alpha Pearline Gray of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Monday, May 18th, 2020, at the age of 89.

Pearline was born on April 7th, 1931, to Edwin and Alpha Huelster in Bowie, Texas. She married her husband, Kenneth, in 1947, and devoted her love to him for 73 years. Their family joyfully grew in 1949 when their son, Kenneth Jr., was born. A very independent woman, she had many talents and skills. She shared her quilts, crochet pieces, oil paintings and canned jams with all the people she cared for the most. A nature enthusiast, the love she held for her grandchildren and beautiful home-grown flowers was more grand than the Texas sky.

Pearline is survived by her husband, Kenneth Gray Sr.; her son, Kenneth Gray Jr. and wife Susan Gray; her grandchildren, Randy and wife Susan Gray, Kyle Gray, Shawna Gray, Tonya Rennels, and Kendra Gray Reed and her husband Aaron; great grandchildren, Dustin, Ryder, Orion, Corvin, Jordan, Rylie, and Reese; her great great grandchildren, Skylar and Kelton; and several nieces and nephews.

Pearline is preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Alpha Huelster; her brother, Herman Huelster; and her sisters, Hazel Smart, Flora Zanvettorri.

Graveside Service will be held at 10AM, Friday, May 22, 2020, at East Hill Cemetery, Fort Stockton, Texas.
