On May 26th, Antonia Galindo passed away in Dallas after a yearlong battle with cancer. Antonia was born on May 10, 1945 in Boquilla de San Isidro, Mexico. She was married to Jose Galindo for 51 years. The couple has been a part of the Fort Stockton community for over forty years. She is the mother of Baldemar Galindo husband to Letty Galindo, Favi Villesca wife to Orlando Villesca, Santos Galindo husband to Cynthia Galindo, Eva Ramirez wife to Fidel Ramirez, Adan Galindo husband to Diana Galindo, Edgar Galindo husband to Erica Galindo and Jennifer Kutrzeba wife to Jan Kutrzeba. Antonia’s passion in life were her family and friends. Her 14 grandchildren brought her joy every moment they were able to spend together. She was always welcoming to friends, family and any strangers that graced their home. Antonia was an inspiration to all those around her and was filled with peace, joy and knowing that she was loved by so many. Her optimism and unwavering faith gave hope to everyone around her. Her generosity and kind spirt will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She went peacefully and is now reunited with her 2 children Doniceo and Guadalupe.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 2 to 4pm at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday, May 29, 2020, at 1pm at Our Lady of the Guadalupe Downtown Campus with burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
