Argelia Vargas

Argelia Helen Vargas, age 84, passed away on Sunday September 21, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 26, 1929. She met and married the love of her life, Domingo Vargas in 1944. She became a Homemaker and poured all her love into him and five wonderful children. They came to Fort Stockton in 1962. She enjoyed gardening and sporting events.

Helen is survived by two sons, Domingo F. Vargas, Richard Vargas and wife Mary of George West Texas two daughters, Sylvia Rodriguez and husband Mario of Fort Stockton, Mary Sue Pacheco of Fort Stockton sister, Bertha Deffee seventeen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Ramirez Vargas son, Jimmy Vargas mother, Lilia Sanchez stepfather, Juan Gutierrez father, Aniceto Fierro sister Rosalinda Rodriguez.

A visitation will take place at Heritage Funeral Home from 12:00 pm. 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014. A graveside service will be 10am Tuesday, September 22, 2014 at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
