Barbara Carpenter

Barbara Puckett Carpenter passed away Saturday, January 30th, 2016, in Fort Stockton at the age of 77 years. Barbara was born on December 17, 1938, to Dow Puckett and Roberta Notley in Pecos. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Stockton and was involved with D.R.T.
Barbara is survived by her husband: John Mac Carpenter; her daughter: Maura Kathlyn Carpenter Johnson of Fort Stockton; her two brothers: Milton and Bill Puckett; her sister: Emily Puckett; her three grandchildren: Kaleb Dow Johnson, Jacob Karl Johnson and Cheyenne Nicole Johnson.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents: Dow and Roberta Puckett and her son: Lawrence Dow Carpenter.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 5th, 2016, from 6-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Funeral service will begin at 11am on Saturday, February 6th, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will be at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls starting at 3pm.
