Beatrice Winget, age 91, passed away Saturday, July 6 2013. Beatrice was born on December 12, 1921 in Pride Station, Kentucky to Clarence Rideout Ollie Lee Shields Rideout. She married Millard George Winget on February 6, 1947. Mrs. Winget had a long career in the restaurant industry, first as a waitress and then later as the ownermanager of several restaurants including the Steak House Restaurant in Fort Stockton. Beatrice is survived by 2 daughters, Jean Winget and Bettie Smith and husband Roy by 2 sisters, Phyllis Rideout and Lila Jean Garret by her grandchildren, Roy G. Smith, George Smith, Beth Humphries and husband Leon, Steve McLaren and wife Pam, Pam McLaren, Tracey Hall and husband Michael, Lori Turner, Tammy Turner, Rick Turner by her 16 greatgrandchildren and 18 greatgreat grandchildren and by her special friend Dana Strong.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Ollie Rideout her husband Millard Winget her brothers Clarence Rideout Jr., William Cleatus Rideout and David Rideout her sisters Doris Rideout and Alice Jennings, and her son Morris Earl Turner. A memorial service for Mrs.Winget will be conducted at Heritage Funeral Chapel in downtown Fort Stockton on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Parks Methodist Retirement Village, especially Sarah, Andi, Ashlea, Hall 2 CNAs, Mary Lori, and to Home Hospice Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at: www.heritagefuneralhomeofthebigbend.com
