Bentura Sanchez passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 78.
He was born January 29, 1942 in Alpine, Texas.
Bentura had a passion for fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. He was proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include sons Javier Sanchez and wife, Sharon, of Garland, Texas, and Frank Sanchez and wife, Jessica, of Austin, Texas, and James Sanchez of Fort Stockton, Texas; daughters Lila Hill and husband, Jason, of Converse, Texas, and Linda Barrios of Fort Stockton, Texas; sister Rosario Bolivar; grandchildren Tiffany and Jesse Barrios, Lauren and Trey Cates, Benjamin and Magdalena Sanchez, Dominique and Ernest Worix; great grandchildren Gemma and Kameron Paz.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Sophia Sanchez; wife, Magdalena; son Jose Sanchez; brother Vic Robledo; and sister, Esperanza Robledo.
Visitation for Bentura Sanchez will be Monday, November 2, from 11-1PM, at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton. Services will be held Tuesday, November 3, at 2PM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Downtown Campus, Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will be at the Catholic Cemetery.
