Bill Honaker

William Adams Bill Honaker passed from this life on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his residence in Fort Stockton at the age of 88 years. Bill was born on January 10, 1926, in Pecos, to Hubert Rike and Elva Honaker. Bill and Pat were married January 29, 1948 and began their family in West Texas. Ranching across Pecos, Reeves. Presidio, Brewster, and Jeff Davis Counties. Bill graduated from Texas AM University in 1946. He spent a life time ranching and farming. He received numerous awards for his work in conservation and farming. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.

He is survived by his wife Pat, of 66 years sister, Martha Russell of Hatch, New Mexico sons, Glenn Honaker and wife Karen of Fort Stockton, Terry Honaker and wife Peggy of Wimberly, Rick Honaker and wife Tam of San Angelo seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren Many friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 68 PM, June 30, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. A Visitation will also be from 910 AM with the Funeral following at 10 AM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Neely Landrum officiating.
