Blas Dominguez of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on July 1, 2020 in Fort
Stockton at the age of 69. He was born on June 7, 1951, in Fort Stockton, Texas to
Frank and Albina Dominguez.
After graduating from Fort Stockton High School in 1970, Blas began his truck
driving career, starting off as a cattle truck driver with his dad. He met the love of
his life, Bertha “Bebe” in 1972 and they began their journey together. Blas spent
the rest of his life as a fuel truck driver, delivering to local and nearby businesses.
Blas enjoyed watching western movies and PBR (professional bull riding). He was
a big Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. Blas had a great love for his 13
year old dog, Astro.
Blas is survived by his son, Eric Dominguez and wife Linda of Prosper, Texas;
daughter, Ericka Luna and husband Evert of Fort Stockton; step-sons, Cecil Gentry
and James Gentry; step-daughters, Minnie Quintero and Ilsa Watson; brothers
Frank Dominguez, Jimmy Dominguez, and Juan Dominguez; sisters Maria
Rodriguez and Alicia Woods; grandchildren Deric Dominguez, Natalie
Dominguez, Daphne Luna, and Savannah Luna; step-grandchildren Myndi Gentry,
Brandon Gentry, Cullie Gentry, Erin Chandler Navarrete, Jennifer Quintero, Simon
Quintero Jr., Veronica Quintero, Kelsie Ramsey, Chris Quintero, Justin Sanchez,
Meriah Sanchez, Dylan Lopez, and Andrea Lopez; 13 great-grandchildren.
Blas is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Dominguez; parents, Frank and
Albina Dominguez; brothers Luis Dominguez and Joe Dominguez; half-brother
Richard Carrasco; half-sisters Fidela Velasquez and Felicita Carrasco; step-sons
Ron Chandler and Frank Gentry.
A private service will be held by the family.
