Brigido Garcia

Brigido (Vico) P. Garcia of Fort Stockton passed away Friday May 26th, 2017, in Fort Stockton. Brigido was born on September 20, 1942, to Apolonio and Angelita Garcia in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Brigido, Vico, Garcia was 74 years old. He was a man with a big loving heart, and very devoted to his family. During the illness of his wife and mother, he cared for them until their passing. He enjoyed cooking, baking, and sharing his blessings with all. One of his greatest passions were his dogs whom he loved and cared for. He was employed with the Fort Stockton Public School for 29 years until he retired. He also worked at the Juvenile Detention Center for 5 years. Vico has earned his golden wings. He touched so many hearts and will be missed so very much. No one will forget him.
Brigido is survived by his daughters, Norma Valles of Fort Stockton, and Ivonne Ramirez from Andrews; his sons, Eric Garcia and wife Jennifer of Midland, Eddie Valles and wife Veronica of Midland; his brothers, Amado Garcia from Odessa, Eloy Garcia and wife Nancy from Fort Stockton, Joe Garcia and wife Grace of Fort Worth; his sister, Mary Pena and husband Raul from Belton; his grandchildren, Paul Valles, Vincent Ramirez, Johnathon Valles, Christopher Valles, Megan Valles, Erilee Garcia, Dominick Mancha, Clara Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Lluvia Sanchez; his great grandchildren, Paul Valles Jr, Desiree Valles, Amelia Valles, Maverick Valles, Estrella Montoya, Delilah Ramirez, David Ramirez, Matthew Ramirez, Jacob Ramirez, Ivan Valles, Isabella Valles, Victor Valles, Abigail Valles, Alanel Valles, Elijah Valles, Lalayni Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brigido is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mauricia (Wisha) Garcia; his brothers, Ramon Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Ramon Garcia; his sisters, Jeanie Valles, Elida Garcia; his nephew, Larry Garcia; and his grandson, David Ramirez.
The pallbearers are: Paul Valles, Vincent Ramirez, Paul Valles Jr, Eric Garcia, Eddie Valles, Johnathon Valles, Christopher Valles, and Eddie Cital.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 29th, 2017, from 11-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Rosary will be at 7pm on Monday, May 29th, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, beginning at 10:30am at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
