Bruce Sigrist

Bruce Ellsworth Sigrist passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton. Bruce was born on November 8, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to parents Grover and Zola Sigrist.He served our country honorably in the United States Navy. He then received a Bachelors degree from the University of Ohio. He worked for Yellowstone Park Co. for several years. He received a Masters from Arizona State and taught school at The Judson School in Scottsdale, AZ. Mr. Sigrist also managed a golf club in Brainerd, MN and then returned to work at Yellowstone National Park for Hamiltons Stores, Inc. He then retired to West Texas.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Grover and Zola Sigrist, his daughter Lori Sue Sigrist, his sister Margaret Nelson, and his brothers John, Dick, Ed, and Bob Sigrist.

Survivors include his wife Nan Sigrist of Alpine, TX his son Brandon T. Sigrist and wife Natasha of St. Paul, MN and his daughter Joni Sigrist of Gardiner, MT.
