Carmen Esparza

Carmen Garcia Esparza of Fort Stockton passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018, in Odessa, Texas at the age of 91 years. She was born on January 13, 1927 in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Francisco and Guadalupe Garcia.

Carmen is survived by her son, Juan G. Esparza Jr. and wife Imelda of Fort Stockton; her daughter, Geneva E. Garcia and husband Victor of Fort Stockton; her seventeen grandchildren; her twenty-seven great grandchildren; and her one great, great grandchild.

Carmen is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joe G. Fuentes; her daughter, Yolanda F. Pacheco; her brothers, Guillermo Garcia, Feliciano (Chano) Garcia; her sisters, Leonor (Nane) Flores, Francisca (Cica) Terrazas, Bernarda (Reyes) Mesa, Josefa (Chepa) Espino, and Enedina (Nina) Barron.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 12pm-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday October 11, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 am in Fort Stockton, burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
