Carroll Whittenburg

Carroll Word Dub Whittenburg passed away on Sunday, October 5,
2014 in Carrollton, Texas. He was born February 11, 1945 in Fort
Stockton. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday,
October 11, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Fort Stockton with Pastor
Phillip Regal officiating. A graveside service will follow at East
Hill Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend of Fort Stockton
has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Dub was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Rhae Word Whittenburg
father, Columbus William Dub Adams, II and stepfather, Dar
Whittenburg.

Survivors include his son, John David Whittenburg and wife Amanda of
Plano daughter, Christi Whittenburg Lee and husband Jeff of Longview
brother, Tom Ed Whittenburg and wife Janie of San Antonio sister,
Melanie Johnson of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and five grandchildren. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be sent to Paisano
