He is survived by his wife, Maria De Jesus Romero; children Santos Romero (Maricela) of Odessa, Texas, Juan Romero (Alma) of Mexico, Rosa Romero (Bocho Benavidez) of Fort Stockton, Ramona Romero (Saul Ramirez) of Mexico, Elisa Benavides (Oscar) of Fort Stockton, Tocho Romero (Karla) of Fort Stockton, and Leopoldo Romero of Fort Stockton; brothers Jose Angel Romero and Santana Romero; twenty two grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers Ramiro, Vicente, Jesus, Micaela, Juan, and Pedro.
Hehova es, mi pastor, nada me Faltara. En Lugares de delicados Pestos me hara descansar; Junto a aguas de reposo me pastoreara, confortara mi alma; me guiara por sendas de justiciar por amor de su nombre. Salmo 23.
