Catherine Yvonne Coleman, age 68, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on March 14, 2023, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Viewing will be on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00am – 1:00pm for family and open to the public from 1:00pm – 6:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11:00am at the Apostolic Tabernacle   Pastor Kevin Johnson of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Fort Stockton will be officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.

Catherine Coleman was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Dempsey and Johnnie Wilson on February 17, 1955. She went to school at Fort Stockton High School.  She married Dennis Coleman on June 22, 1973, in Fort Stockton.  For many years she gave of her time to assist and serve various positions of the ministry at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Fort Stockton.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Dempsey Gene Wilson and Johnnie Pearl Wilson, niece, Misty Rangel, daughter in law Christina Coleman, and her brother, Ronald Gene Wilson.

Catherine is survived by her spouse, Dennis Coleman, her children, Shirley Coleman, DeWayne Coleman and wife Melissa, and Anthony Coleman. Sisters and spouses, Judy and Glenn Haynes of Mesquite, Texas, Jeanette and Terry Brannon of Fort Stockton, Texas, Sheila and Steve Tacheny of Granbury, Texas, and Denise and Rubin Castillo of Abilene, Texas.  Brothers, Robert Wilson and James Wilson of Fort Stockton, TX, John Wilson of Bellmead, Texas, and Oscar and Irene Wilson of Abilene, Texas.  Her grandchildren, Twyla and husband Caleb, Dallas, Jordan, Kendra, Kevin, Bradley, Brandon, Briana, Kainan, Kassia, Cooper and great grandchildren, Malachi, Ezra, Hosanna, and Judah and multiple nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Coleman, Anthony Coleman, Dallas Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Kevin Coleman, and Bradley Coleman.
