Charles R. Duncan, of Fort Stockton, entered rest on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020, at the age of 78. He was born September 6th, 1941, in Wards Creek, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Onie and Ola Duncan.
Charles graduated from Buckeye Union High School, in Buckeye, Arizona, in 1960. He entered the Air Force in May of 1960, and retired June 20, 1982, obtaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). He served with distinction including two tours in Vietnam. After retirement from the military, he worked several civilian jobs including Enron and TDCJ.
Charles was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was very proud of his accomplishments of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 56 years; son Kevin Duncan, of Fort Stockton; daughter Karla Mitchell, and spouse Robert, of Midland, Texas; daughter-in-law Mellyssa Duncan of Fort Stockton; sister, Sylvia Carl; grandchildren Drew Mitchell, Kaitlin Allain, Alyssa Duncan, and Joshua Duncan; great grandchildren Kennedy Allain, Kaylie Mitchell, and Ryan Mitchell.
