Cynthia Ramirez passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Fort Stockton at the age of 59 years. Cynthia was born on February 23, 1955, in El Paso, but lived over 35 years in Fort Stockton. She worked as a waitress for many years at the Steakhouse restaurant in Fort Stockton. Cynthia was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She loved her grandbabies and she delighted in creating beautiful flower arrangements.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter Abby Ramirez Marcelino Torrez her brother George Zimmerly her comadre Minnie Santiago Grandchildren, Kianna Rocha Karissa Rocha and nephews Jacob Demarcos Luna numerous relatives and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her Mother, Nicolasa Flores, Father, Feliz Garza and her sister, Rosie Garza.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May13 at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday morning, 10:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery.
