Cruz Rodriguez, 82, beloved Father and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on July 17, 2020, with loved ones at his side. He entered this world on September 26, 1937, in Palestina, MEX, born to Cruz and Petra Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rebecca Rodriguez, and brother Tomas Rodriguez
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Odilia Rodriguez; sons Cruz Rodriguez Jr, Tomas Rodriguez (wife, Elva); daughter Alicia De Anda (husband, Enrique) all of Fort Stockton, Texas; sister, Irma Barrera (husband, Leonel) of Del Rio, Texas; grandchildren, Duvan, Benjamin, Abbigail, Annika, Nicholas, Antonio, Andres, Juanito, and Sandy; four great-grandchildren, and an abundance of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed spending time with his children, and grandchildren. He was a long time member of Northside Church, and loved the NFL team, Dallas Cowboys, and the former Houston Oilers.
A private service will be held by the family.
