Mr.Donald Ernest Hook, age 84 of Lumberton, NC departed this life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Wynona Leddbetter Hook; his wife: Juanita J. Hook; four sons: Albert Lujan, Joe Alex Lujan, Freddie Lujan and Alonzo Lujan; three brothers: Tommy Hook, Jack Hook and Ronald Hook.
Mr. Hook is survived by his daughters: Silvia Lujan Hernandez (Miguel) of Lumberton, Rose Mary Pena of Big Lake, TX, Virginia Ortiz (Joe) of Ft. Stockton, TX, Donna Ontiveros (Esubio) of Ft. Stockton, TX, Nellie Dominguez (George) of Ft. Stockton, TX and one son: Angel Lujan (Ana) of Odesa, TX; three brothers: John Hook of California, Mike Hook of North Dakota and Pat Hook of California; a special friend and caretaker: Nicole Lowery. He loved his two dogs that also survive him: Ace and Peanut. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:PM East Hill Cemetery. Fort Stockton, TX.
