Emma D. Gonzales

Emma D. Gonzales was called home by our heavenly father at the age of 87.

Emma was born on March 16, 1936, to Crisostomo and Eulogia Duarte in Fort Stockton, Texas. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25,2023 from 12pm to 7pm rosary at 7 pm at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe 403 S. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735 at 10am with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Interment to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery 407 W. El Paso St. Fort Stockton, Texas.

Emma is proceeded in death by her parents Crisostomo and Eulogia Duarte, brother Jesus Maria Duarte, and sister Maria Oralia Ruiz.

Emma is survived by husband Ruben Gonzales, her daughters Esmerelda Duarte, Candy (Joe) Subia, Liza Duarte, Tanya (Mark) Thomason, Michelle (Armando) Mandujano. Sons Ramon (Margie) Duarte, Robbie (Lupe) Dominguez, Ruben Jr. (Linda) Gonzales, Bobby (Sonia) Gonzales, and Larry (Paula) Gonzales and sister Ida Ruiz.

Emma has 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 nephews and 3 nieces.

Pallbearers will be her sons Ramon Duarte, Robbie Dominguez, Ruben Gonzales, Larry Gonzales, along with grandson Joseph Benitez, and nephew Jose Ruiz.
