Enrique" Henry" Fuentez was born to Enrique and Natalie Fuentez in Andrews, Texas on February 15, 1962. Enrique " Henry" Fuentez graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1980 and then was employed by Energy Transfer. His lifelong partner was Melba Chavez. Enrique was best known by “Henry”. He was a great dad who loved his kids. He was protective of his family from his parents, to his siblings, down to his kids and grandkids. He knew the value of hard work and it showed throughout his career and his horse shoeing business. He never complained a day in his life. Anyone who knew him would tell you he was a good man. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back. That’s just the kind of person he was. His staples were wranglers, a tshirt, cowboy boots, and a black cowboy hat. He was well known for his singing, his guitar playing, for shoeing horses, and raising roosters. He was good company and loved being the entertainment wherever he could. His most famous song was “the chair” by George Strait.  His legacy lives on in all the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

“Oh, the last goodbye's the hardest one to say. This is where the cowboy rides away” -George Strait

Enrique "Henry" Fuentez is survived by his parents Enrique and Natalie Fuentez, his lifelong partner Melba Chavez, his children Monica (Conrado) Barrera grandchildren Gracen and Aspen Connell, Derek Fuentez, Dinessah (Aaron) Owens grandchildren Levi and Finley Owens and Dusten Fuentez.  His sisters Rosela (Kenny) Johnson, Silvia (Ray) Mesa, Pat (Cruz) Herrera, Brothers Jaime Fuentez, Steve (Mildred) Fuentez.
