Enrique Gonzales Irigoyen passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 88. Enrique was born on July 15, 1926, in Porterville, California to Candelario and Socorro Irigoyen. He lived in various cities such as Villa Union, Durango, Mexico, but made Fort Stockton his home in 1952. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Enrique worked as a farmer for over 30 years and the City of Fort Stockton for 20 years. His joys in life were gardening with his wife, Eustolia, and spending time with family.
Enrique is survived by his two sons, Enrique Irigoyen Jr. of Fort Stockton, Gabriel Irigoyen and wife Becky of Midland two daughters, Mercedes Sais of Fort Stockton, Leticia Gonzales and husband John of Fort Stockton four sisters, Guadalupe, Connie, Sara, Socorro Amelia 9 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren.
Enrique was preceded in death by his wife, Eustolia Irigoyen son, Candelario Irigoyen daughter, Velia Irigoyen two brothers, Rafael, Ruben and Antonio one sister, Anita
Visitation will begin at 12:007:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 Rosary will follow at 7pm at the Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Funeral will take place at Saint Joseph Catholic Church at 10:30 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 with burial following at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
