Ernestina Chavarria

Ernestina Ramos Chavarria of Fort Stockton, TX passed away Monday, July 15, 2019, at the age of 82 years. She was born on November 12, 1936 in Fort Stockton, to Florentino and Juanita Ramos.

Ernestina is survived by her husband, Ricardo Y. Chavarria; sons, Ricardo Lee Chavarria, wife Rosa of Austin, TX, Raul Chavarria; daughters, Rosalie Bustos, husband Luis of Carlsbad, NM, Raquel Leyva, husband Javier of Carlsbad, NM; brothers, Herman Ramos, Sesario Ramos, wife Melba, sisters; Gloria Sanchez, Clara Rascon, Eloisa Morales, husband Lupe, Tomasa Moreno, husband Ignacio, Adelaida Pena, grandchildren; Andrew, Jessica, Alex, Kaci, Andrea, Zachary, Zekeil, Elizabeth, Zuriah, and great-grandchildren; Autumn, Derek, T.J., Ara, Grace, Liam, and Dak.

She is preceded in death by her parents Florentino and Juanita Ramos and brother, Jimmy Ramos.

She was employed by the Fort Stockton Independent School District for 30 years before retiring.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 4pm-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas, with rosary at 7pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 19, 2019, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Downtown Campus in Fort Stockton, Texas.
