Esteban Jurado

Esteban S. “Steve” Jurado was called to the Lord on December 14, 2019 at the age of 92. He was born December 26, 1926 in Ruidosa, Texas.

He is survived by daughters, Delia Martinez of Marfa, Texas, Virgie Pallarez and husband Eddie, of Marfa, Texas, Rachel and husband Johnny, of El Paso, Texas, and

Irma Espinosa, and husband Alfredo, of Odessa, Texas. Sons are Javier and wife Terry, of Alpine Texas, David and Vanessa, of Marfa, Texas, one sister, Juanita Duran, of Torrence, California, and his birthday buddy, Albert Dominguez, of Marfa, Texas. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Esteban was proceeded in death by his son, Danny Jurado; grandson, Davis Justin Jurado, great granddaughter, Monique Justine Jurado; parents Tomas and Antonia Jurado; and brothers Crescensio, Antonio, and Nicolas.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1PM, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 211 W. San Antonio, Marfa, Texas, with a burial to follow at Merced Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Diego Jurado, Travis Jurado, Jimmy Steve Martinez, Neil Dean Martinez, Patrick Pallarez, Eric Pallarez, Jay Jurado, Robert Espinosa, and Jaime Cardenas. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
