Francisca "Mama Quica" D. Perales of Fort Stockton passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at the age of 73 years. She was born on March 12, 1945 in Cd. Acuna Coah., Mexico, to Juan and Francisca Duque.
Francisca was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. She was active in the Guadalupanas, Cursillistas, and Eucharistic Minister. She was a former Pride of Pantherland Band Booster. She loved to cook, loved her plants, and her telenovelas. She was known as "Mama Quica" to the many children she cared for. She was a grandmother to many. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 31 years after waiting 25 years to reunite.
Francisca is survived by her sons, Joe H. Perales and wife Teresita of Edinburg, Andres Perales and wife Rosa Maria of Eagle Pass; her daughters, Anna Maria Rivera and husband Rolando F. of Fort Stockton, Rebecca Galindo and husband Isidro of Presidio; her sister, Maria de Jesus Duque; her grandchildren, Joseph Perales, David Perales, Cici Perales, Johanna Hackworth, James Perales, Erik Perales, Leslie Galindo, Jocelyn Perales, Rolando P. Rivera, Adrian Rivera, Isidro P. Galindo, Dustin Rivera, Andres Perales Jr., Vanessa Perales, Jose Alan Galindo, Isaac Anthony Perales; and her ten great grandchildren.
Francisca is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Francisca Duque; her husband, Jose Maria Perales; her brothers, Guadalupe Duque, Reynaldo Duque; her sisters, Bonifacia Duque, Ana Maria Duque.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 1pm-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas, with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 7, 2019, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 am in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
