Francisco Fabela Sr.

Francisco "Frank" V. Fabela Sr. of Fort Stockton passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at his home in Fort Stockton, Texas surrounded by his children at the age of 84 years. He was born on October 5, 1934 to Francisco and Romana Fabela.
Daddy was a strong willed man. Loving, caring, was always willing to help others. He was a good provider for our family. He was full of energy, never could be still. He enjoyed pulling weeds, in general anything that required movement. He enjoyed doing yard work and working around the house. He loved spending time with friends and family. Frank was self-employed all of his life. He owned his company, Fabela's Concrete.
Francisco is survived by his sons, Edward Fabela and wife Elodia of Fort Stockton, George Fabela and wife Elida of Fort Stockton; his daughters, Rosario Terrazas and husband Ruben of Midland, Mary Cabezuela and husband Orlando of San Angelo, Leticia Fabela of Fort Stockton; his brothers Domingo Fabela, John Fabela, Fidel Fabela, Samuel Fabela; his sisters, Victoria Rios, Olga Machuca, Aurora Chavez, Armida Fabela, Patrishia Ingram; his twenty grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Francisco is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maggie Fabela; his son, Frisco Fabela; his brother, Oscar Fabela; and his sisters, Herminia Fuentes, Virgina Alfaro.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 1pm-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday October 26, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 am in Fort Stockton, burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
