Glen Allan Teaney passed away on Saturday, at the age of 84. He was born February 29, 1936 in Moline, Illinois to Harry L. Teaney and wife, Ida Teaney who have proceeded him in death.
Glen graduated from Pecos High School in 1954 and attended Hardin Simmons University and later Sul Ross State University, before graduating in 1958 with a Major in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science degree. He was discharged from the United States Army on August 31, 1964, where he received a good conduct Medal.
Glen Teaney was a member of the Fort Stockton Lions Club, and an agent at Fort Stockton Insurance Company under Mike Walling. Later, he formed a partnership with Tom Galloway and worked there until retiring.
In the mid 90’s, Glen started Teaney and Ramos Catering with Ramiro Ramos and catered several events until he retired in 2008.
He is survived by his adopted family Ramiro Ramos and wife, Elsa Ramos; grandchildren Remie Ramos, Rachelle Young, and husband Tyler, Ramsey Ramos, and wife, Briana; three great grandchildren Ella and Emory Young, and Ramsey Ramos; and many friends. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Jimmy Teaney.
