Guillermo Gomez

Guillermo (Willie) Gomez, our beloved son and brother, was called home at the age of 46 on December 9th, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

Guillermo was born on December 4th, 1976, in Alpine, Texas to Julio Gomez, Sr. and Elda Eunice Manzano. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1996 and attended Devry Institute where he obtained a degree in Information Technology. Guillermo spent several years working in property management and eventually started his own business in the field of computer technology.

Guillermo had a great love for his family. His pride and joy was his baby sister, Clarita. He had a charming personality with a bounty of love and laughter to share. He never met a stranger and was able to easily connect with others.

Guillermo is survived by his loving parents Julio Gomez and Maria Gomez of Fort Stockton, Texas, and his biological mother Elda Eunice Manzano of El Paso, Texas. His brothers Julio Gomez and wife Angela Gomez of Odessa, Texas, Ivan Gomez and wife Erika Gomez of Greenwood, Texas, Salvador Perez III of El Paso, Texas. His sisters, Vicky and Ernesto Hernandez of Mexicali, Mexico, and Clarita Rubio and husband Santos Rubio of Fort Stockton, Texas. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews that held a loving place in his heart.

Visitation will be held December 18th, 2022, 12:00pm - 6:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Rosary will begin at 5:00pm December 18, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.

Funeral Mass will take place Monday December 19th, 2022, at 10:00am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church located at 403 S. Main St, Fort Stockton, Texas.

Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
