Ines Sotelo

Ines H. Sotelo entered rest on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 92. He was born April 20, 1927, in Terlingua, Texas to Abundio Sotelo and Dolores Hinojos.

Our father was an amazing cowboy and loved fishing, hunting, and horses. He cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He showed his children the importance of love and respect and was always willing to take off to be with them. Our fondest memories are of him dancing with mom as he loved music and dancing. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen, of Fort Stockton, Texas; sisters Guadalupe Ybarra, Manuela Sotelo, and Celia Jordan; sons Ramon Sotelo, and spouse Graciela, of Fort Stockton, Texas, and Oscar Sotelo, and spouse Adela, of Midland, Texas; daughters Juana Sotelo of Austin, Texas, Martina Sotelo of Austin, Texas, and Flora Taylor of Hutto, Texas; nine grandchildren Lakeisha Van Buren, Yanira Carrasco, Bobby Sotelo, La Tanya Sotelo, Kimberly Sotelo, Malaina Taylor, Marissa Padilla, Jessica Tamez, and Izaia Taylor; and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Abundio Sotelo and Dolores Hinojos; brothers Jose Sotelo and Jesus Sotelo; sisters Maria Rodriguez and Fidelia Puente.

Visitation for Ines Sotelo will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 1-7PM with a Rosary to follow from 7-8PM, at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas. Services for Ines Sotelo will be Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 10AM, also at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton. Texas. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.
