Ismael Ramirez

Ismael S. Ramirez of Fort Stockton passed away Monday, July 9, 2018, in Fort Stockton at the age of 80 years. He was born on July 14, 1937, in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Chon Ramirez and Luisa Sanchez.

Ismael was a loving and caring man. He had a great passion for camping, fishing, and most of all for his family.

Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife Delia Ramirez; two daughters, Lori Escajeda and husband Orlando Escajeda of Odessa, Melinda Kassuhn of Fort Stockton, brother; Fren Ramirez of Charlotte, North Carolina, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by two sons; Alfredo Almodova, Richard Ramirez, grandson; Joshua Kassuhn, brothers; Guillermo Ramirez, Chon Ramirez, Tilde Ramirez and sister; Maria Garcia.

Pallbearers are Orlando Escajeda Jr. (OJ), Chon Ramirez, Steven Ramirez, Fred Ramirez, Adan Garcia, and Ruben Ramirez.


Visitation will be Thursday July 12, 2018 from 11am to 7pm at Heritage Funeral Home with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Service will be Friday July 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery
