Joe C. Pacheco

On the night of December 21, 2024, Joe Casas Pacheco (75) of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away at his home after a long illness. 

Visitation for Joe Pacheco will be held December 26,2024 from 12-9 pm at Heritage Funeral home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main Street Fort Stockton, Texas. Celebration of life will be Held December 27,2024 at 12pm at Heritage Funeral home of the Big Bend with Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemtery. 

Mr. Joe Casas Pacheco was born to Mike Pacheco and Anita Casas Pacheco on March 19,1949 in Fort Stockton Texas. He was a welder for 30 years then a superintendent, and finally a welding inspector. He was highly respected and well known throughout the oil and gas industry. In October of 1965 he married the love of his life Josephine Blanco Pacheco, and they raised four children Patricia, Jacob, Magdalene, and Joseph. Joe was very active in the community such as coaching pee wee league and little league throughout the 1980s. Joe had many interests and abilities. He had a keen adeptness to fix things and invent things. He loved boxing and enjoyed fishing. He loved the outdoors, especially the mountains of West TX and Southeastern NM. Joe was interested in world history and world politics. He never turned away friends in need. Joe loved his children dearly and his friends. His quick wit, humor, intelligence, and wisdom will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him. Joe was preceded in his death by his mother Anita, his father, Mike, his brothers Jessie, Johnny, Mike Jr. and Ray. He is survived by his wife Josephine, brother Chris, sisters Nora and Roxanna. His daughters Patricia and Magdalene and his sons Jacob and Joseph. Joe had 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
