Josephine Franco

Josephina Franco, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Josie was a lifelong resident of Fort Stockton. She was born here on March 19, 1941. Her parents are George U. Pia Sr. and Clelia Maria Paredes Pia. She and her husband Joe have been married since 1991. She was a homemaker, mother of six children and grandmother of six Mrs. Franco is survived by her husband Joe S. Franco her son George Pia Dennett daughters Regina Ann Dennett and Katrina Hall brothers, George Pia Jr., James Robert Pia, Fred R. Pia sisters, Ernestina Tina Sarabia, Reynalda A. Lippincott and Nora Elizabeth Lizzie Pia her grandchildren, Nicole Simmons, James Orcutt, JoLea Dennett, Debra Plendl and Julian Berdoza. Mrs. Franco was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clelia 3 daughters, Sharon Lee Burnes, Debra Kay Dennett and Sabrina Ruth Mehan one grandchild, Ronny Lynn Hall II. Family visitation will take place at Heritage Funeral Home from 10:00 am. 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Josephs Catholic Church will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13.
