Juan Alvarez

Juan Delacruz Alvarez of Fort Stockton passed away Thursday October 6th, 2017, in Fort Stockton at the age of 92 years. Juan was born on November 24, 1924, to Tiofilo and Maria Alvarez in Ruidoso, Texas.
Juan is survived by his sons, Leopoldo Alvarez, Juan Alvarez, Alberto Alvarez; his daughters, Manuela Armendariz, Ofelia Alvarez, Olivia Hernandez, Alma Carrillo, Amalia Flores; twenty grandchildren; and thirty-six great grandchildren.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Amelia Rodriguez Alvarez; his brother, Manuel Alvarez; his sisters, Juana Alvarez, Maria Tarin, Trinadad Alvarez.
Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday, October 9th and October 10th, 2017, from 11-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. A prayer service will be on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at 6pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017, beginning at 10:00am at the Church of Christ in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery, Fort Stockton, Texas.
