Johnny Joe Castro passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 50.
He was born December 11, 1969 to Mariano and Margarita Castro in Alpine, Texas and was a resident of Fort Stockton.
Johnny married his high school sweetheart, Sandy. He loved his handsome boys and his beautiful princess they had both waited for. He was always putting everyone else before himself and making sure he provided for his family. Johnny worked all his life and looked forward to weekends to relax and grill with the boys and buddies. He was a #1 Panther supporter for all the kids events, cheering and coaching from the stands. He was an awesome baseball player in his younger days and would talk about it with the boys, giving encouraging words to always do the best in all they do. He will be greatly missed at home, family gatherings, and the children’s activities and events. He is now our guardian angel.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mariano Rios Castro, Sr. and Margarita Chalambaga Castro.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Molinar Castro of twenty-four years; sons Jay Fortino Castro, Andrew Nathaniel Castro, and Evian Xavier Castro of Fort Stockton; daughter Anyssa Janay Castro of Fort Stockton; brother Mariano Castro Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; and sister, Sandra Castro Pacheco of Midland, Texas.
