Juan Gonzales

Juan Flores Gonzales of Fort Stockton, TX passed away Friday, August 16th, 2019, at the age of 90 years. He was born on July 11, 1929 in Boquillas, Coahuila, Mexico to Isabel Gonzalez Rodriguez and Otila Flores Huerta.

Juan is survived by his wife, Porfiria Sanchez Gonzalez and daughter, Santa S. Gonzalez (Sotero Brito) of Monclova, Coahuila, son Juan S. Gonzalez (Maria Gonzalez), Fort Stockton, seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sons Roberto S. Gonzales, daughter Epifania S. Gonzalez, and sisters Refugia Flores Gonzalez and Josefina Flores Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez was a man of few words, a firm believer of tough love, a hard worker, a true cowboy, and a God-fearing man.

Fly high cowboy. You left shattered hearts but we find comfort in knowing that you left us for a much better place.

Visitation and Rosary will be held at 7PM, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas. Services will held at 10AM on Wednesday, August 21st, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe, Downtown Campus, Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will take place at the Marathon Cemetery at 2PM on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019.
