Linda Ann Esparza Alvarado passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 57 years. Linda was born in Fort Stockton, Texas on May 31, 1957 to Tomas and Erlinda Gonzales Esparza. She married her sweetheart Benito Alvarado on Dec. 26 1987. Linda was a Medical Records Clerk for 15 years at Dr. Cecil Georges Rural Health Clinic. She was a member and Past President of the Fort Stockton High School Band Boosters. From 20042008 she was a member of the Fort Stockton Legal Secretary Association. Linda was a much beloved Mother, Grandmother and sister, a caring and compassionate person to everyone, as well as a wonderful cook. Linda was a faithful member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. She will be greatly missed by all her family and her many friends.
Linda is survived by her husband Benito Benny son Joshua Alvarado and wife Paula of Greenwood, Texas daughter Viana Alvarez and husband Orlando of Fort Stockton sister Lou Ann Tovar and husband Marcos Tovar Jr. of Fort Stockton. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Daniella and Brianna Alvarez of Fort Stockton and her beloved pet, Hachi.
She was preceded in death by her brother Lionel Esparza and her grandmother Anita U. Gonzales.
There will be Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 45 from 127:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. On Thursday, Nov. 6 at 1:00 p.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be observed at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with graveside rites following at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
