Lucia Espino

Lucia Terrazas Espino of Fort Stockton passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016, in Fort Stockton at the age of 90 years. Lucia was born on April 28, 1925, to Guadalupe Terrazas and Esther Carrasco Terrazas in Fort Stockton, Texas. She was a loving wife and mother, who was totally devoted to her family. Until into her eighties, she never failed to cook three meals a day for her family. She devoted much of her time to caring for her aging parents and her family members. She had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special to her and her happiest times were when they were spending time with her.
Lucia is survived by her sons Jessie Espino of Fort Stockton, Texas, Raul Espino and his wife Judy of Fort Stockton, Texas, Frankie Espino and his wife Linda of Austin, Texas, Johnny Espino and his wife Charla of Midland, Texas; her daughter Esther Acosta of Fort Stockton, Texas; her brother Pete Terrazas and his wife Amy of Fort Stockton,Texas; her grandchildren Jonathon Espino, Amanda Urias, Kristopher Espino, Melissa Rutledge, Crystal Acosta, Jon Ross Espino; and her great grandchildren Andrew Acosta, Amaya Urias, Alonso Urias, Toby Rutledge.
Lucia is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus A. Espino; and her parents Guadalupe Terrazas and Esther Carrasco Terrazas.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31st, 2016, and Friday, April 1st, 2016 from 1-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Rosary will begin at 7pm on Friday, April 1st, 2016. Funeral service will begin at 10:30am on April 2nd, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
