Manuel Gonzales, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2025, in his hometown of Fort Stockton, Texas. Born on June 27, 1949, Manuel's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the cherished bonds of family.
Family and friends are invited to honor his memory during a series of services. Visitation will be held on January 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, located at 301 N Main St, Fort Stockton, TX. A Rosary will follow the same day at 7:00 PM. The celebration of his life will continue with a Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on January 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth, most profoundly felt by his brother Adan (Marta) Gonzales and sisters Eva (Joe) Martines, Esmeralda (Ramiro) Valdez, Lucy King, and Eustolia Gonzales. Manuel’s spirit will continue to live on through his numerous nieces and nephews, who will always remember him for his infectious laughter and gentle encouragement. Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Guillermo and Priscillana, as well as his sister Lupe Martinez and brothers Ernesto Gonzales and Rudy Gonzales. The memory of his cherished relatives, including Paula Parras and Ruben Gonzales from Tucson, Arizona, will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we remember Manuel, we celebrate a life steeped in love, joy, and unforgettable moments. His legacy will remain within those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey, shining brightly through the love he imparted to everyone around him.
