Manuel R. Ureste of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018, in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 76 years. He was born on February 5, 1942, in Boquillas Del Carmen, Mexico to Ernesto Ureste and Engracia Rivera.
Manuel is survived by his spouse of 56 years of marriage, Elvira Ureste; sons, Manuel Ureste and his wife, Yvonne of Fort Stockton, Texas, Jorge Ureste and wife Paula of Fort Stockton, Texas, Miguel Ureste and wife Veronica of Fort Stockton, Texas, and Jesus Ureste and wife Janie of Fort Stockton, Texas; daughters, Araseli Ortega and husband, Florentino of Fort Stockton, Texas, Lucema Jacquez and husband Hervey of Fort Stockton, Texas, and Vanessa Pando and husband Isidro of Fort Stockton, Texas; brothers, Faustino Ureste, Pedro Ureste, and Oscar Ureste; sister Librada Oñate; his 22 grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.
Manuel is preceded in death by his parents
His pallbearers will be Hervey Jacquez Jr., Joshua Jacquez, Jorge Jacquez, Manuel Ureste III, Hector Ortega and Jaden Ureste.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 17th, 2018, and Sunday March 18th, 2018 from 10 am - 9pm, at Templo Buen Pastor, 409 W. Division St. in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 19th, 2018, beginning at 10am at Templo Buen Pastor in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at Marathon Cemetery.
