Manuela Montanez

Manuela Martinez Montañez of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Thursday, January 26, 2018, in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 72 years. She was born on May 31, 1945, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Margarita Minjarez and step-father Daniel Rios.
Manuela is survived by her husband, Mauricio Sarabia Montanez; her sons, Carlos Porras of Odessa, Mauricio Montanez Jr. of Fort Stockton, Jimmy Montanez of Fort Stockton, Michael Montanez of Fort Stockton, Gilbert Montanez of Colman; and sister, Rosario Rios of Odessa, Texas. She had 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
Manuela is preceded in death by mother Margarita Minjarez and step-father Daniel Rios; her brothers, Manuel Martinez, Guillermo Martinez; and sister, Maria de los Angeles Mendoza.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 12 to 9 p.m. And Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 9a.m. to 9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
