Maria Gonzalez

Maria Paz Gonzalez passed away on Sunday, March 1st, 2020. She was born January 25, 1931, to Fedrico Barraza and Josefa Rivas.

She is survived by sons Clemente Gonzalez and wife, Rosa Elva, of Fort Stockton, Saul Gonzalez, and wife Guadalupe, of Fort Stockton, Noel Gonzalez of Fort Stockton, Erasmo Gonzalez and wife, Marcie, of Fort Stockton, Herminio Gonzalez Jr., of Midland; daughters Gabina Villa and husband Polo, of Odessa, Tx, Tomasa Pacheco, and husband Hector of Fort Stockton, Norma Hinojos of Fort Stockton, Hilda Lechler of Mexico, Melta Gonzalez, and husband Arturo, of Fort Stockton, Diamantina Gonzalez and husband, Mauricio Escobar, of Fort Stockton; sister Angela De La Rosa; 46 grandchildren and 97 great grandchildren.

Her parents preceded her in death along with her husband, Herminio Gonzalez; daughter Antonia Gonzalez; sons Gabino Gonzalez, and Fedrico Gonzalez; brothers Antonio Barraza, Jose Barraza, and Concepcion Barraza; sisters, Concuelo Cabello and Soledad Rodriguez; daughter-in-laws Elena Gonzalez, of Midland and Olga Gonzalez of Fort Stockton, Tx; and son-in-law Juan Lechler of Fort Stockton.

Visitation will be held on March 4, 2020, from 5-7PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas with a Rosary to follow from 7-8PM. Services will be held at 10AM on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Downtown Campus, 403 S. Main, Fort Stockton with burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
