Maria Ramirez

Maria Carmelita Ramirez 72 of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away January 8, 2022. Carmelita was born in Hale Center, Texas to Alfredo Martinez Sr. and Martha Baldera Martinez. Carmelita went on to marry her loving husband Antonio "Tony" Ramirez on February 21, 1980 and lived a wonderful life together for 42 years until her passing.
Carmelita is survived by her husband Tony, her four sons Manuel Martinez (Belia), Jimmy Martinez (Dora), Sammy Martinez (Shereen), Eddie Martinez (Mari), three brothers Alfredo Martinez (Mary), Santos Martinez (Josie), Richard Martinez (Patricia) and one sister Helen Villaescas. Carmelita is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
As a housewife Carmelita was known for her unconditional love and devotion of helping others. She loved her plants and always has a hot meal for all who walked through her front door. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Always putting others first. If you knew her you loved her. She had a love and passion for riding her motorcycle anytime she could.
Visitation at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from 12:00PM - 8:00PM, there will be a Rosary Friday, January 21, 2022, at 7:00PM. Funeral services at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend will be Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10:00AM, with burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery, Fort Stockton, Texas.  Carmelita will be carried to her final resting by her loving sons Manuel, Jimmy, Sammy, and Eddie.
