Melida Vasquez

Melida Rae Vasquez of Fort Stockton passed away Monday, February 8th, 2016, in Midland, Texas at the age of 34 years. Melida was born on September 14, 1981, to Isael Vasquez and Ernestina Gonzalez in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Melida is survived by her daughter: Alyssa Manzano; her brothers: David Vasquez, Edward Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Jaime Gonzalez, and Nicholas Gonzalez; her grandmother: Lucilla Gonzalez; her aunt: Natalia Gonzalez and her uncles: Joe Henry Gonzalez and David Gonzalez.
Melida is preceded in death by her parents: Isael Vasquez and Ernestina Gonzalez.
Visitation will be on both Wednesday, February 10th, 2016, and Thursday, February 11th, 2016 from 11am-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. The rosary will be recited on Thursday evening. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30am on Friday, February 12th, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
