Michael Tietz

Michael "Mike" Eugene Tietz of Fort Stockton passed away Friday, September 9th, 2016, in Odessa at the age of 62 years. Mike was born on August 12, 1954 to Kenneth and Lois Jean Lick in Pampa, Texas.
Mike loved to go hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and attending rodeos. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to travel for work and enjoyed college football and the game of golf. He was a loving friend to anyone that he met and he never met a stranger.
Mike is survived by his father, Kenneth Tietz; his sons, Sammy Tietz and Michael Tietz; his sisters, Teresa Everett and Leslie Smith; and his six grandchildren, Aaron Tietz, Aubrey Tietz, Joey Tietz, Skylar Tietz, Micha Tietz, and Owen Tietz.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Tietz.
Graveside service will begin at 2pm on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
