Oscar Manuel Carrasco of Wagon Mound, New Mexico passed away on August 12, 2020
at the age of 59 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Oscar was born on May 11, 1961 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Ricardo and Alicia
Carrasco. Oscar loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed working in his
yard and loved to cook. He loved to spend time with his nephews and nieces. He would
take his shirt off his back to help anyone. He had a heart of gold.
Oscar is survived by his brothers Richard Carrasco, Jr. (MaryLou) of Odessa,
Texas, Angel Carrasco (Liz) of Midland, Texas, and Tony Carrasco of Fort Stockton,
Texas; sisters Mary Lou Benavides (Guadalupe), Norma Rojas, Elva Gutierrez (John
Robert), all of Fort Stockton, and Olga Carrillo (Gabriel) of Midland, Texas; numerous
nieces and nephews, and his beloved Sugar.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Johnny; maternal
grandparents Jose and Manuela Ybarra; paternal grandmother Albina Dominguez; paternal grandfather Jose Carrasco; and nephew Guadalupe Benavides, Jr.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 17, at Heritage Funeral Home and
services were held on Tuesday, August 18, at Our Lady of the Guadalupe, Downtown
